The Opportunity –

With a primary focus on redefining the real estate industry to be a more trusted and consumer-focused space, Suburbia set out to change the approach to buying, selling and leasing homes and create a personality-rich lifestyle-oriented brand — this project was to build an identity that supports this vision.

Our Approach –

In order to build trust, we knew we needed to create an identity that was both highly relatable and blindingly relevant. We wanted this brand to establish longevity from the outset, to feel current for the next generation of home buyers, so our approach was clear — to ensure we incorporate personalisation in the real estate experience.

Design Notes –

In order to create a personalised attachment to this brand we needed to weave ‘you’ into Suburbia, and the real estate experience in general. This was our core intention with building the branding to ensure we made it memorable and exclusive.

Angling for friendly over intimidating at every touchpoint, an impactful but warm logo marque was developed, symbolising the significant investment of real estate.
We customised the letter U to highlight you, the consumer, along with amplifying the brand’s trailblazing direction.

The brand tone in general has a strong relevance towards ‘you’, the consumer. In keeping with the core themes, we added some movement into the marque to create the effect of moving forward in life. The typography we used echoes this sentiment by pairing varied slanting typefaces.

Imagery took a lifestyle approach, establishing connection and steering away from the typical industry standard. Pops of personalisation come through with ‘sold’ stickers, allowing people to select their own — up the energy of Suburbia and bring joy to these major life moments.
